We are saddened by the news. "The Mother" of the disability rights movement. Ms. Judy Heumann passed away this weekend. Judy was a feirce advocate for individuals with disabilities and a huge supporter of the Grassroots Consortium and in particular, UWS. Our hearts and prayers go out to Judy's family/friends.
